These conditions are primarily intended to be used when the supplier's personnel carry out assignments involving technical work for the contractor. The work can either be stand-alone or an additional obligation to a delivery of equipment. Examples of work are installation work, supervision of installation, commissioning, repair work, renovation, fault tracing, tuning or adjustment. The conditions are not intended to be used for purely intellectual work, such as design and programming consultancy. However, there is nothing to prevent design and programming work being included as part of the assignment.
