General Conditions for the supply of Plant and Machinery for Export. Prepared by a group of experts of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, these conditions were issued in 1953, but may still be used in rare cases in international transactions. However, the conditions are not complete and must be supplemented by the parties in important parts. This can easily be done by using the document with amending and supplementary conditions prepared by Teknikföretagen and others. The content of this so-called addendum is designed so that the substantive provisions of ECE 188 and the addendum essentially correspond to NL 09. A later addendum has not been prepared because ECE 188 - at least for European trade - have been replaced by the more modern conditions Orgalim S 2022.
