Teknikföretagen has agreed on new collective agreements with trade unions Unionen, IF Metall and Sveriges Ingenjörer. The agreements give wage increases of 3.0 percent over 14 months, which will cost companies 2.6 percent annually.
“The cost increase is high especially when we see a sharp decline in the economy ahead. But after long negotiations and difficult considerations we have reached an agreement that is better than the alternatives,” says Director-General Åke Svensson.
“This will give companies better possibilities to plan ahead in order to meet the financial crisis, which is becoming more and more evident.”
The new agreements are for the period 1st February 2012 - 31st March 2013.
