Föreningen Teknikföretagen i Sverige has some 3,500 member companies. In principle, the same applies to Föreningen Teknikarbetsgivarna i Sverige. The difference between the two organisations is that the latter enters into collective bargaining agreements with trade unions IF Metall, Unionen, Sveriges Ingenjörer and Ledarna. The members of the two associations are essentially the same and mutual concerns are handled jointly.
The governing bodies of the organisations are the annual meetings. These elect the board of directors and decide on member fees, etc. In addition, there are five regional boards to ensure and promote the regional interests of the member companies. The Director-General leads Teknikföretagen's day-to-day business.
Teknikföretagens Service i Sverige AB provides member companies with a range of services such as advice and support in negotiations, training, networking and help with government agency contacts.
